This is available for patients aged 40 and over who are not currently taking blood pressure medication. If you book under the age of 40, we will not be able to perform the BP check.

Free NHS consultations for seven common conditions. If clinically appropriate, we can supply treatment, including prescription-only medicines, without you needing to see a GP.

Insect Bite Consultation

Infected insect bite and sting consultations are available under the NHS Pharmacy First service for patients aged 1 year and over. We'll assess your symptoms and, if clinically appropriate, provide treatment such as antibiotics without needing to see a GP. This service is for infected bites and stings only, if your symptoms suggest a more serious reaction or condition, we may refer you to your GP or another service.

Sinusitis Consultation

Sinusitis consultations are available under the NHS Pharmacy First service for patients aged 12 and over, with symptoms lasting 10 days or more. We'll assess your symptoms and, if clinically appropriate, provide treatment without needing to see a GP. If your symptoms suggest a more serious condition, we may refer you to your GP or another service.

UTI Consultation

Uncomplicated UTI consultations are available under the NHS Pharmacy First service for women aged 16 to 64. We'll assess your symptoms and, if clinically appropriate, provide treatment without needing to see a GP. If your symptoms suggest a more serious condition, we may refer you to your GP or another service.

What is NHS Pharmacy First?

NHS Pharmacy First is a free NHS service that lets you see a pharmacist for advice and, where clinically appropriate, treatment for seven common conditions, without needing a GP appointment. The pharmacist can supply prescription-only medicines for conditions like infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles, sore throats, sinusitis, earache and uncomplicated UTIs.

What is the Minor Ailments Scheme?

The Minor Ailments Scheme is a free NHS service for patients who are exempt from prescription charges, including children under 16, adults over 60, medical exemption certificate holders, and people receiving certain benefits. It covers 19 everyday complaints such as hay fever, head lice, thrush, athlete's foot, indigestion and eczema.

Do I need to book or can I walk in?

You can walk in during opening hours for everyday advice. For NHS Pharmacy First and private clinic appointments, you can walk in or book online at tobreypharmacy.setmore.com. Booking in advance guarantees your slot and avoids waiting.
